I can sense that most of them were living a carefree life. Well 'modern' society. Guys and girls mingling freely (touchings included). Being an Asian I felt like I am out of Asia for a while..hahaha but again I can't expect everyone to be like me, a girl from a small hometown. I understood the changes, this is not new for me. Its just that last time I see one or two somewhere in shopping mall, now a whole class full of sexy fashionitas. Tubes, spaghettis, colourful bikini underneath transparent blouse, torn blouses and etc. Talking about clothes, tubes and tube dresses always makes me to worry. Well you know incase, :/ it slipped from its position o.O
Guys were...err...just guys. Typical modern guys. Nice jeans, nice shirt, some wore tight clothes to show off their bodies and most 'cool' dudes had an ear piercing adorned with a bling. These were majority but there were some lazy people like me too. Hahaha...Can u imagine out of these mass crowd you could actually count those with black hair with your fingers! ( I am not of those black hairs too). Everyone coloured their hair in many shades, there were purples too :P
Oh yea those who I caught on my watchful eyes frequently get a nickname by me, and my friends can't stop laughing at my logic but again they couldn't deny it as well. A few examples of the nicknames are DRAMA QUEEN AND THE ITCHY GANG, JACOB, ROMEO, DRAMA KING, ATTENTION SEEKER, BEGGAR, MESSY HEAD, NERDIE, MISS ANOREXIA, RED HEAD. This is all I could think of for now.
These past 3 weeks were okay I guess but I was hit badly by homesick. I am running back home every week. I wished there were a college in my hometown. I am staying at my uncle's place and there's a feeling like I am invading their privacy. Thank god its just temporary. I will move out soon. I can't live there for a long time with this kinda feeling. Other than that, talking about the food, in Brickfields foods are quite expensive and so sad none of them are as tasty as the one in my dad's shop. I think my dad can make quite a good money if he open a restaurant there. Its like people eat there because they got no choice -_-. I am being vegetarian for a month for prayers purpose and I end up starving because when I imagine what lunch I am gonna have, my apetite just showing a big BYE sign to me.
People of Brickfields are scary as usual. Mad men, drug addicts, itchy bitchy uncles all are roaming around freely in this area. Oh yea, I even saw a prostitution centre. One ugly girl who is seriously very ugly was standing outside. My friend told me "Hey look red light area". Being a late pick up I was like what red area and apparently I was finding for a red building. My friends gave me the look of wanting to smash me up then my girl friend told me she would show me when we pass by again because that's the way we have to use to go to our second building. As long as nobody disturb me, its fine. One thing I learnt about city life is I must be selfish sometimes for our own safety. I would always say "I am sorry GOD in my heart" when I had to be that way.
